Our remit for this challenging project was to design and fit-out the cinema (from existing
shell condition) in time for an opening for the school summer holidays- we had nine weeks
to accomplish this goal including a two week design lead-in period!
The client brief was simply to create a modern and exciting cinema concept likely to appeal
to the young cinema-going public in the town and the surrounding regions.
To achieve this objective, we made use of bright contrasting coloured walls juxtaposed
against materials such as corrugated metal sheets, polycarbonate sheeting, bright vinyl
tiles, birchwood frames, signage and modern light fittings to create the dynamic cinema interiors.
