Independent advice is offered by the team at Cinestructures based on
their many years experience of dealing with these types of projects
and working within the industry.
Cinestructures was originally formed in May 1995 to undertake the
fit-out of the Atrium Cineplex in East Grinstead for a private client
on a ‘turnkey’ basis. The ‘turnkey’ concept is
one in which the designs, specifications, budget and programme are
firstly discussed and agreed with the client. Once these issues have
been finalised, a simple legal agreement is completed and signed by both
parties, following which Cinestructures will take over the entire
control of the project until the final handover to the client/organisation.
The turnkey contract is designed to be fair to both client and contractor alike,
based on a perceived need to achieve good quality, technical excellence and
value for money.
Project completion at The Atrium was achieved in 9 weeks which included a 2 week
design lead-in. Therefore, the ‘turnkey’ option can often be time and
cost effective method of building procurement. Since the early days of The Atrium,
Cinestructures have completed other projects for a variety of clients and have
also diversified into the design of screening rooms and home cinemas. A recent
innovation for Cinestructures is the design of cinemas in care homes for Hanover
Housing Association (see Projects).

projects, Cinestructures has set up an online shop for customers to procure these
quality seats at competitive prices.
